Popular Swedish agent, Patrick Mork, has been in town together with four other officials from Sweden, United States of America and Israel. The four other officials include Swedish premier league club AIK Solna director, Jeorge Andersson and the club chief scout, Jorn Wesstramt.
The delegation also included Israel FIFA agent, Sharon Halabi and Brian Gavin Wilkinsson from Major League Soccer side Portland Timber. During their visit, there was a tournament at the Football Academy which was hosted by Sierra Leone FIFA agent, Chernor Musa Jalloh.
According to Jalloh, the competition attracted players from all premier league clubs in the country including non-division players.
“This is a big opportunity for young players who have been part of this tournament, as it has been helpful to our players, the likes of Hassan Crespo Kamara was spotted from this tournament.”
This is not the first visit of Patrick Mork in Sierra Leone, he has been here on several occasions and he is currently the agent for most Sierra Leonean players in Sweden; Mohamed and Ibrahim Bangura of Celtic and Bursaspor respectively.
