Leone Stars Coach requests For Kei & Obreh

Sierra Leone Swedish coach, Lars Olof-Mattsson has asked the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) and the Minister of Youth Employment and Sports for the inclusion of striker Kei Kamara and Ibrahim Obreh Kargbo in the squad.
Leone Stars will face the Eagles of Carthage at the National Stadium in Freetown for the first leg encounter of 2013 Africa Nations Cup qualifiers on September 8 and the Swede wants the duo in his squad for the match.
The pair were suspended indefinitely from all international matches by both the SLFA and the Minister for alleged indiscipline, inciting and derogatory statements made towards Football officials, including threatening remarks against football authorities.
However, the Swede coach has not hid his intention to have the pair in his squad for the Tunisia clash saying emphatically that he wished to have the duo in the squad.
“It is my hope and wish that we include Ibrahim Obreh Kargbo and Kei Kamara in the list,” Olof-Mattsson stated.
Whether or not the player’s suspension will still stand or lifted remains to be seen but the FA and the Minister are still firm on their decision.
Mattsson is not the only individual to have appealed for the pair but several fans across the country have called for the overturn of such decision in the interest of the team to qualify for the 2013 Nations Cup in South Africa.
