”My dream is to play for the National team”- Alusine Bangura

20 year-old midfielder, Alusine Bangura, who currently plays for Fairleigh Dickinson University in the North East Conference League and the National Athletic Association (NCAA) has said that his dream is to play for the National team, Leone Stars, ahead of the country’s 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Tunisia.
Alusine Bangura said he is always looking forward to the opportunity to represent his country and help make a difference as football is one of the things he enjoys most and he is looking forward to the day he will receive his first call to represent his country; ‘that day will be one of the happiest days in my life,’ he told this medium.
Bangura who during 2010 season trained with the Major League Soccer (MLS) side, DC United academy for two months has now joined the Maryland International soccer academy.
“According to Alusine, he disclosed that during his days at DC United Academy, he learnt a lot from them and he is looking forward to play for the senior team in the MLS because playing with them in that higher level, will be a great pleasure for him. “That will also put me in a very good footing to represent my country.”
The player went further to state that to achieve such a goal is not an easy task, and that is why he is training very hard to improve himself and attract bigger clubs in the MLS, Bangura said.
Bangura who is presently in town, was engaged in a friendly match with FC Johansen, where he played.
During the match, Alusine Bangura was very instrumental in the midfield by winning most of the balls.
