Sierra Leone News: Bo Govt. Hospital Male Surgical Ward gets face lift

The Bo City Council has handed over the newly renovated Bo Government Hospital Ward III to the Management and Staff of the hospital on Saturday, 10th August 2013. The renovation of the Surgical Ward is estimated at Le140, 000, 000 (one hundred and forty million Leones).
Handing over the keys to Foday Sesay, the Medical Superintendent at the Bo Government Hospital, the Deputy Mayor of Bo City Council, Mohamed Wurie Jalloh maintained that “the rehabilitation of Ward III is part of the City Council’s agenda for development in the city of Bo.” In continuation, he assured that the Administrative Building of the Hospital and Ward II “will soon be rehabilitated.”
The Medical Superintendent Foday Sesay started by establishing that “the Bo Government hospital “is the only referral hospital in the southern region.” And for that, the hospital administration and staff he elucidated appreciates any “development project brought to the hospital.” He assured the City council of the wise use of the new facilities both by the nurses and doctors and also the public. Marveling at the new structure, Dr Sesay lauded the construction company Lexons for the quickness in the rehabilitation of the new structure. That-not-with-standing, he called on the Council speedily implement the other project of the rehabilitation of the Administrative Building and Ward two.
