Isha Senesie & Mum at the 34 Military Hospital

Isha Senesie, a nine-year-old school girl, has been in the hospital ever since January this year, since a classmate pushed her over, causing her to land on her back and fall down a flight of stairs.
Her family are now hoping to raise money for her to be further tested and possibly treated abroad, where there are better medical facilities.
Senesie came into the 34 Military Hospital on the morning after her fall and was examined by the surgical team there. After an initial X-Ray, doctors concluded she had spinal tuberculosis, or Pott’s disease. The surgical team, deciding it was more a medical issue than a surgical one and Senesie was put on medicine that would reduce inflammation and pain.
The Mother said she’s been at the hospital for the past month, still down because there’s been no improvement for the child, but she is hopeful.
She’s “hoping in God’s time.” Hoping for her child to walk. There’s no hope at the orphanage.
