Marketing Communications Specialist and business consultant, Vickie Remoe has recently launched Sierra Leone Brewery Limited (SLBL) new beer King Leone and the Mi Na King campaign.
The campaign seeks Sierra Leonean men with stamina, strength and vigour, who are courageous and adventurous, since these are the qualities of the King Leone brand.
Vickie Remoe explained that the men they are looking for are men you know and see everyday. “King Leone could be the engineer who is building our roads, the electrician who is climbing up high poles to fix our electricity, the contractor who is helping us build our dream homes, the mechanics keeping our cars on the road, the soldiers keeping our borders safe, the police officers serving our communities and many other strong men doing the heavy lifting to build Sierra Leone. They have the strength, they have the stamina, ‘Mi na King is’ a way of rewarding and recognizing our hard working men.”
SLBL Alcoholic Content Manager, Arthur Kallon explained that King Leone Beer bridges the gap between the company’s existing products.
He disclosed that King Leone beer has 7% alcoholic content and it’s brewed with the best locally sourced ingredients.
The campaign is open to all those above 18 with no criminal records. In order to partake you need to buy a bottle of King Leone beer and take a picture with your beer and then write in not more than 100 words why you deserve to be King Leone. Send the picture and message to whatsapp number 232-99-219-400 not later than 31st October and stand a chance to win Le10 million.
