Sierra Leone Sports: “Today’s match is a do or die battle” – players vow

April 13, 2017Most of the players who spoke to this medium has stated that today’s match against Tanzanian in the ongoing ICC Africa Division One tournament in South Africa is must win match to keep them alive in Division One.
They stated that if they are unable to win, they will be relegated back to division two.
They vow to win today, with focus and determination. “It is do or die battle against the Tanzanians, “the players said.
One of the technical people, Cyril Panda, has praised the team for the courage they have demonstrated during the tournament. “This is a real sportsman’s spirit.”
Most of the local coaches have said that the team did not prepare well.
The Executive and the Board members need to learn from what has happened during the tournament. When the team returns home, a lot has to be done for the good of the game, but they wish the team the best of luck.
