Head Coach of Sierra Leone home-based squad, Abubakarr Tostao Kamara, believed his side has the potential to upset Senegal in their first leg of the Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier encounter.
The match is scheduled for Saturday 15 July 2017, at the Siaka Stevens Stadium in Freetown.

The Coach admitted that the boys have been training for a while and they’re aware about the important of the match on Saturday.
“Each of the players knows exactly what to do in the pitch of play. The technical team has worked immensely to ensure we prepared a formidable for the match,” he said.
“As a team we are going for the three points, which means we should win the match at all costs. I’m hopeful that the team will play well against the Senegalese. Our aim is to defeat the Senegalese in front of our home crowd,” said Tostao.
The Coach urged the team to be committed, focused and put more power in the pitch of play. Stating if they are to win by huge margin, they should play with efforts to score more goals.
“This is Africa football, the physical ability of the players is more essential. I’m sure they’ve learned from our training session that they should be physical”.
