Sierra Leone Entertainment: All Stars US Show flops

A group of 25 artists from the ‘All –Stars’ musical group did not make it to perform at a planned music concert in the USA.
Sources say the majority of the members of the group, including its President, were denied entry visas by the US Embassy in Freetown.
The All-stars artists were to perform at the much publicised music concert in the United States of America. According to our investigations, some of the artists were issued the visa but could not make it on time for the July, 9th gigs in Washington D.C. SaloneJamboree could not ascertain why they were denied the visas but US embassy don’t normally comment on individual visa refusal cases.
Earlier, the All Stars released a flyer which contained faces of a group of 25 Sierra Leonean artists who were said to perform in the U.S. The group also released promotional flyers and launched a campaigned on social media for the concert. The All –Stars President was criticized on social media by other artists over the selection process of those 25 artists. All effort to get Milton Coker aka Collabo, the President of All-Stars to react proved futile.
Last Sunday the concert went on in Washington D.C with the absence of all of the 25 artists. Our source in America described the show as “a real family day of Sierra Leoneans coming together”, despite the low turn-out. The organisers of the show decided not to cancel the event despite the absence of their guests from Sierra Leone.
Our source in the U.S says the organisers are planning to put on another show with some of the Sierra Leonean artists who got their visas. Some of the artists who got their visas are expected to arrive in the U.S this week.
Our says confirmed that Rahim, JayArr, Super Melvin and Big Ray performed, whilst top other Sierra Leonean D’Js and celebrities attended.
