Sierra Leone Entertainment: Paris Hilton cries with Sierra Leoneans

American businesswoman, socialite, television and media personality, model, actress, singer, and DJ, Paris Whitney Hilton has reacted to the August 14 mudslide and flooding which caused over 400 fatalities, thousands displaced and about 600 reported missing.
Paris is the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, the founder of Hilton Hotels, currently the hotel chain is building a five star hotel in Freetown at Aberdeen. Paris twitted on Tuesday, August 15: “So heartbreaking… My thoughts & prayers are with the people of #SierraLeone during this horrible time.”
The Nigerian star, Wiz Kid also expressed similar sentiment on Twitter. On Monday, August 14, he re-twitted CNN Africa News report about the disaster in Sierra Leone, with the comments: “Pray for Sierra Leone. Wow”.
Over 200 people were buried on Thursday at Waterloo, the outskirt of Freetown, at a well attended, but solemn ceremony. Liberia’s President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf joined President Koroma at the mass burial ceremony of the victims of Monday’s disaster.
