Sierra Leone Sports: ”The equipment will be used for the right purpose” KCC chief executive officer

Emmanuel Pessima receives the gearsOne of the renowned cricket Club in the country Kent Cricket Club (KCC) on the weekend receive equipment from the Wimbledon Bombers Cricket Club in the UK that worth millions of Leones.
The equipment was given to the Kent Cricket Club (KCC) on Saturday 9th September 2017.
Among the equipment received were pads, batting gloves, helmet and a quantity of pink and red balls. Former Sierra Leone’s all-rounder Maynard Cox-George based in England created the link between the two clubs.
He facilitated the shipping of the equipment to Freetown and his wife Evelyn Harding presented the gears to KCC in Freetown on behalf of Wimbledon Bombers CC.
Receiving the gear, the Club’s Chief Executive and Founder, Emmanuel Pessima, expressed special thanks to Tim Holmes who facilitated the donation and to everyone at Wimbledon Bombers CC for their kind donation. “We are extremely pleased with the donation as it will contribute to our desire to make positive impact in society and we look forward to more support in the future,” said Emmanuel.
The head coach of the Club Joseph Pessima said the donation came at the right time that the club is trying to go to the schools to train the children from various schools in the country.
He also mentioned that the club will the equipment during competition as the league season will start soon this will help the team a lot to achieve their aims and objectives for the club.
