Sierra Leone referee, Ibrahim Bristo Kamara is part of 52 other participants currently undergoing an advanced education program in the FIFA Referee Instructor course, in Tanzania.

He stated that the course has given him the opportunity to meet and interact with senior referees from different countries, and since it is also a sharing platform, it will help him to gain more experience in refereeing.
The course is divided into two major aspects, the Physical Fitness Methodology and the Technical aspect which have other components such as teaching methods, injury prevention, and developing fitness through training to meet the requirements of international and national assignments for the good of the game.
The referees association is following Kamara’s participation with keen interest and they hope he will quickly get acquainted with other referees so as to gain more knowledge.
The participants are drawn from 26 Countries and it includes 8 FIFA instructors and two FIFA administrative officers. The six-day course, which started on Monday 20th November, is scheduled to end on Saturday 25th November 2017.
