Joseph said he felt absolutely “fantastic” being awarded yet with another trophy. This is my seventh trophy since I started playing at age four. The first trophy I won was in 2013 at the golf opening championship in Freetown. Notwithstanding, he said, “I’m really glad collecting my seventh trophy.” Joseph noted that even though soccer is predominant in Sierra Leone and “…I love soccer, there limited opportunities for those with talent in soccer here. However golf is my second option and I’m loving it.” adding that the opportunities in golf are unlimited.
Looking at his future in golf, Joseph said he is intending to bag more trophies Tiger Woods.
As for his younger brother Muvaah this is his first trophy. “I’m playing golf for fun, I actually like soccer,” he commented. Mother of the young golfers celebrated Broadcaster and Station Manager, Asmma James assured supporting her sons’ golfing passion. President of Freetown Golf Club, Yada Williams said the young golfers were impressive and encourage parents to support their kids and also appeal to corporate institutions to support local golfers.
