Sierra Leone News: APC visits Kambia and Port Loko … Focus on women and youths

The All Peoples Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, Samura Kamara and his running mate, Chernor Bah, were in Kambia and Port Loko on Monday after the party’s parliamentary candidates nominations, last Friday. Addressing supporters in Kambia, Kamara said he is happy that the people still believe in the APC party and said he is going to continue the pursuit of the Agenda for Prosperity.
“My major focus will be to deal with the women and children’s issues that are part of the Agenda for Prosperity. You are going to be my priority and we are going to upgrade your status.”
He told them that the past 10 years President Koroma has done well and it is better for him to continue his legacy and correct areas that needs correction and strengthen other areas that need to be strengthened.
Kamara’s running mate, Chernor Bah, said the APC is the party that can develop Sierra Leone because of their unity and the brotherly love that exists between its members.
Presidential campaign manager of the APC, John Sisay, in his short remarks told the people in Kambia that the party is well structured and solidly behind Samura because they believed in the party’s doctrine.
“I want you all to pledge your support for the APC and Samura Kamara. Let us campaign peacefully for our party.”
Late on Monday evening the presidential campaign team arrived in Port Loko where they were received by top officials from the District. The same messages were delivered to the people of Port Loko. AT/30/1/18
