Sierra Leone Sports: ‘’We have postponed the beach cricket” Emmanuel Pessima

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kent Cricket Club (KCC) said the beach Cricket festival that the club was supposed to held this weekend at Tokeh Beach has been postponed to the 25th of this month.
He said the postponement is due to some official reasons and they need to put mechanic in place to ensure the smooth and successful running of the event, which the cricket family is looking up to.
He also stated that the Place resort Tokeh Beach is Sierra Leone’s premier beach resort, offering the perfect location for a weekend getaway or group retreat. Their range of luxurious suites, beachside restaurant and fully equipped conference centre ensure that all needs are catered for.
The Secretary General of the club has stated that the structure of the competition has been revised to a round robin basis with the first and second teams on the table qualify to the final.
However, there are two spaces available for teams who wish to participate in the Beach Cricket Festival.

The head coach of the club Joseph Pessima has said that cricketers are eager to play the much anticipated Beach Cricket for the first time, saying it will give them the chance to sell the image about the sport by showcasing what the game is all about to those who will be witnessing it play for the first time will advantage to see how the game is played in sand.
