Sierra Leone News: Sausage and meat factory commissioned inn Cline Town

The AMDH Leone Meat Processing Company has been commissioned at Cline Town east of Freetown to provide quality meat products for the local market with future plans of producing milk, cheese and yoghurt.
The company is one of the many investment projects facilitated by Sierra Leone Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SLIEPA) with an estimated investment value of $1.6 million USD.
The Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Abraham James Sesay-Jones, during the commissioning ceremony said the plant is promoting value addition and enhancing the local content policy.
Artan Stroka, the Sierra Leone’s Consul in Albania welcomed the guests and expressed commitment and determination to promote foreign direct investment to Sierra Leone from Albania.
Tommy Sam, a shareholder and indigenous partner expressed his company’s commitment to providing quality products for the market.
The company currently employs 15 Sierra Leoneans directly, 200 indirectly as sales agents and two expatriates.
