Sierra Leone Sports: Swimmers are training in the pool

The Secretary General of the Sierra Leone Swimming Association, Mohamed Turay, said swimmers are now training in the swimming pool at the Siaka Stevens Stadium in Freetown. He said they are undergoing these training sessions as they have a series of international competitions lined up.
He said the Association now controls the pool and the swimmers have time to train and they will be able to be focus.
The assistant coach, Sheku Conteh, said he is pleased with the performance of the swimmers. They are training twice a day now to put them in a very good footing ahead of their international competition this month.
He revealed that the best swimmers will be selected to represent the country in the various international competitions as they want to create serious impact during those competitions.
One of the athletes, Isha Conteh, said they are happy the way the technical team is organizing the training.
