Sierra Leone Sprots: Sierra Leone drops again to 111 in FIFA World Ranking

The Leone Stars continue to drop in the FIFA World Rankings. The latest drop of eight places was released on Thursday 7 June 2018. Sierra Leone was ranked 103 but have dropped to 111, according to the FIFA official website.
Leone Stars last played in March in a warm-up friendly to World Cup-bound Iran. Iran destroyed the Sierra Leone side 4-0 in an international friendly at the Tehran’s Azadi Stadium March 17, 2018.
Also in Africa, Sierra Leone, who will take on Ethiopia in September in the race for Cameroon 2019 have move four places down from 22nd to 26th position.
Meanwhile, The Leone Stars are still ahead of two of their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Group F qualifying opponents Kenya 112 and Ethiopia 151 in the world respectively while their other component in the same group is ahead of Sierra Leone in 47 position.

1.Tunisia, 2. Senegal, 3. DR Congo, 4. Morocco, 5. Egypt, 6. Ghana, 7. Nigeria, 8. Cameroon, 9. Mali, 10. Cape Verde Islands.
Germany is still ranked on top of the world rankings. Brazil is second followed by Belgium, Portugal, Argentina, Switzerland, France, Poland, Chile and Spain in 10th.
