Sierra Leone Sports: “I have signed for Al-Jabalain FC” – Alfred Sankoh

Sierra Leone international Alfred Sankoh said he has signed for Saudi Arabian club Al-Jabalain FC on a one year contract.
According to Ishmeal Sesay, the 29-year-old defensive midfielder last played in Turkey for Denizlispor the club and he departed in December 2017. The signing is very important for the player that will give him more playing time that will help him in good footing to be part of Leone Stars match against Ethiopia.
Unisa Sesay, a football administrator, said the terms and conditions are undisclosed, but the switch is official Al-Jabalain FC posted on Twitter that “The club’s management have agreed on a deal with the Sierra Leonean International.”
He now joins a list of Sierra Leone natives that have signed for Saudi Arabian clubs. They include former Leone Stars captain John Sama, David Simbo, former Leone Stars skipper Mohamed Kallon who won the Asia Champions League with Al-Ittihad in 2005 and Alhaji Kamara.
