Sierra Leone Sports: I am happy for the move to Saint Truiden – Buya Turay

Sierra Leone International player, Mohamed Buya Turay, said he is very happy after completing his move to Belgian top-tier side, Saint Truiden, on Wednesday 8 August 2018, for a fee believed to be around €1.6 million over three-years.
“I’m delighted to have signed for this great club. It’s a new direction for me and I am ready to work and work harder to help my team and teammates,” Buya said.
“It’s a massive club, and coming from Sweden, I know exactly how much it means to me. I am looking forward to my first match.”
Daniel Sesay said the Belgian Jupiler League is ongoing and Turay is expected to make his De Kanaries debut against KSC Lokeren this weekend at their Stayen stadium.
Unisa Sesay said Mohamed Buya Turay has now joined a list of Sierra Leoneans who have played for top-tier clubs in Belgium. He congratulated the young player.
The other players in Belguim include Ibrahim Koroma, Mohamed Kanu, Paul Kpaka, Musa ‘Jarzinhno’ Kanu, former Leone Stars skipper Ibrahim ‘Obreh’ Kargbo, Mustapha Sama ake Pa Saffa, and Aluspa Brewah.
