Sierra Leone Sports: Today: U-19 male cricket team to play Nigeria in final

The Chief Executive Officer of the Sierra Leone Cricket Association (SLCA), Francis Samura, has disclosed that Sierra Leone will play Nigeria in today’s grand final after defeating Mozambique by 72 runs in the semi-final.
In the other semi-final Nigeria defeated Tanzania, and Mozambique will clash with Tanzania for 3rd and 4th places.
According to Daniel Koroma, the team manager, both countries have qualified for ICC Africa division 1, which is a step to the ICC U19 cricket World Cup 2020 in South Africa.
Tanzania/ Mozambique will be battling for the other two places at the ICC cricket U19 world cup to be staged in South Africa 2020. The Division 1 will be hosted by possibly Namibia in March 2019.
He also revealed that the following countries have qualified to the ICC Africa division one, which include Namibia, Uganda, Kenya, Sierra Leone, Nigeria and the winner between Tanzania and Mozambique.
The coach of the team, Mustapha Kallon, said he is very confident that they are going to emerge as champions after the final today.
