The Iran Envoy noted there is a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between them and the previous SLRCS boards which suppose to ends in 2022. The envoy explained that a commitment was made in the Mou by the SLRC to provide them with a building where they would be able to host their own red crescent clinic. He said currently, because of the rentage they are undergoing most of the budget which is meant to equip the clinic is often used for rentage, “this is why we are look forward to see how we can strengthen our cooperation to move things forward together.” SLRCS Secretary General, Kpawuru Sandy, said, “It clearly states the responsibilities of both parties in maintaining the partnership and cooperation. We are suppose to support each other in providing humanitarian services, essentially that’s what it covers.” “They want a bigger facility that can host them until they are able to construct their own,” he averred.
