Sierra Leone Sports: Judo Association ends training camp for kids in Bo

The President of Sierra Leone Judo Association, Idrissa Massaquoi, said the training camp for the Bo judo club (taking judo to the deprived communities) ended on Tuesday 2 October 2018 with a big judo teaching and demo in the Kissy Road wash car community where hundreds of children, youths and parents participated in Judo the Gentle Way. The next judo tour will be in Freetown. The tour is sponsored by the President and Executive of the Sierra Leone Judo Association. Coach Enesta said that he was moved by the turnout and also the response they got from the participants. It shows that they understood what was demonstrated and learned during the camp. He revealed that he hopes in the coming months Judo will take a centre stage in Bo. One of the parents, Abu Brima, said he was impressed by the Association to have such a training for kids, parents and the youth, which was great and they are looking forward for such training in the coming months.
