 Sierra Leone News: 30 Schools & communities to benefit from Badminton lectures 

The founder of Badminton Sports in the country Chief Shamsu Mustapha said a solid foundation of the sport will starts with the introduction and lecture of the sport in schools and communities. That is why they are to promote Badminton in Schools & communities around the country, the association will be distributing hundreds of badminton equipment to 30 selected primary and secondary schools and 10 communities. The media team said the distribution of equipment starts early next month and the training program commences in December 2018. Most of the coaches in the association especially the head coach Abdul Bangura has said they are very happy to start from the schools and communities it will be a very good foundation if the sport is to grow in the country. Abdul Bangura said that after the schools and communities we are going to the provinces as Bo have test part of the sport when we organize a course this year which attracted teachers and coaches both in Freetown and Bo respectively. He revealed that they are going to use some of these coaches to go to the schools and communities to introduce the game.
