Sierra Leone Sports:  East End Tigers to play home matches in Lungi

Ahead of Sierra Leone Premier League the head of media and marketing of East End Tigers, David Emile, said the team made an official visit to stakeholders and residents in the Lungi, as the team has decided to use the Lungi field to host all home matches. The team took a tour of the venue, which is closer to the Freetown international airport and it is expected to host over five thousand spectators. The delegation also paid a courtesy call to the Paramount Chief Member of Parliament of the Port Loko district, PC Segbereh lll. The PCMP appreciated the decision of the East End Tigers FC to choose Lungi as it’s home ground and promised that that they are going to give their maximum support to the team. He assured the delegation that he will engage with all relevant stakeholders in the chiefdom for the community to take ownership of the team. Leader of the delegation, club chair Victor Lewis, pledged that his team will bring premiership glory in the entire northern region. A friendly match has been scheduled for Friday 9th November 2018 between East End Tigers FC and the Bullom Strikers of Lungi. One of the residence of Lungi, Issa Sesay, said they are happy for that and they are going to have the privilege to see all the Premier League teams in Lungi.
