Sierra Leone Sports: Some of the items for the schools

The Civil Rights Coalition leader, Alphonso Manley, has said that it is now up to the Physical Health Education teachers to perform, now that they have the equipment they were crying for. He made this statement at the Siaka Steven Stadium in Freetown when the team Manager of Leone Stars Christian Dauda provided sporting equipment like footballs, volleyballs, medals, trophies and host of other items to schools in Sierra Leone. He described Christian Dauda as a man that can produce results and with these equipment will be able to see the Messi and Ronaldo of this country. The Deputy Minister of Sport, thanked Christian Dauda for the support saying there are lots of Sierra Leoneans out there who have more than Christian Dauda but are unable to do such things. Before handing over the gift to the Minister of Basic Senior Secondary School, Alpha Timbo, Christian Dauda, said that he has passion for sports and if sports is to develop they need to start from the school, and that is exactly what the Minister of Education and Sports is doing. At the end they will be able to spot out talent that will represent the country. The Minister of Education, Timbo, said that he is receiving the equipment on behalf of government and thanked Dauda and family for the gift. One of the students, Issa Kamara, said they are happy for such gesture from the team manager of Leone Stars and he said he hopes other Sierra Leoneans will follow the foot steps of Dauda. 27/11/18
