Sierra Leone Sports: Sierra Leonean Osman Kakay signs two-year contact

Queens Park Rangers and Sierra Leonean defender Osman Kakay has signed a two-year contract. He posted on Twitter, “Delighted to have signed a new deal at QPR! Onwards and upwards. “I have been here for 13 years and see QPR as my home so I am delighted to extend my stay,” the defender said. “I have played six games this season and am very hungry to play more for the club. I have seen what it takes to play at the first-team level and I hope there are more opportunities to come. “Steve McClaren has been great. From the moment he has come in, the training has been really good and I feel I am improving every day as a player which is a real positive for me.” QPR’s boss McClaren added, “Ossie is definitely one for the future. He played at the start of the season and I thought he did excellently well. He came out of the team and Angel (Rangel) came in and he has been unfortunate in that respect but he is an exciting player for the future and I am delighted he has agreed on a new deal.”
