Sierra Leone Sports: Central Parade FC unveils Executive & Technical Committee

One of Sierra Leone’s Premier League clubs, Central Parade Football Club (CPFC), has unveiled its Executive and Technical Committee as part of the club’s preparation ahead of the forthcoming season. The unveiling ceremony took place at the conference hall of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Brookfields in Freetown. Foday Jalloh, who has been named Team Manager expressed his gratitude as team manager of one of Sierra Leone’s finest clubs. “I am happy for this opportunity and I hope with the support of the entire executives, technical committee, players, fans and other well wishers definitely will acquire their utmost desire,” he averred. He continued to maintain that despite some of the challenges the club will work hard towards sustainability as a professional club. “My main challenge as Team Manager is to see we finish prominently in the forthcoming premier league.” Noel Kitemi Horton, vice-chair of the club, spoke about the foundation of the club with British businessman, Mohamed Alie Barrie, as proprietor. He further pointed to some of the recent transformations within the club gearing towards preparation for the new season. “We were very much prepared for the league season. We have met seventy percent of requirements by the premier league board,” he added. Abu Bakarr Kabbah the second Vice President of the club noted the importance of the media towards the promotion and development of football in Sierra Leone. Head coach, Bobson Kamara, reaffirmed his commitment and preparedness for the new league season.
