Sierra Leone News: No case against AIG Memuna …

The Head of Police Media, Samuel Kamara, has said that there is no case for the suspension of AIG Memuna Borah Conte Jalloh. Kamara refused to explain the details of her suspension and the investigation into her behaviour that warranted her suspension from duties. AIG Memuna, as she is popularly known, was suspended on 28th January 2019 and reinstated as the Director of Corporate Affairs on 2nd February 2019. She has resumed work at the Police Headquarters on George Street in Freetown. Following Jalloh’s suspension, an investigation was launched into accusations of Insubordination, Disrespect in words, Use of Abusive Language, Assaulting and Quarrelling with Member of the Force, Making Vexatious Complaint, Communicating with any Unauthorised Person matter connecting with the Force, Maligning, Failing to Comply with any Standing Orders by the Inspector General of Police, Conduct to the Prejudice of Good Order and Discipline and Conducting leading to the Commission of Felony. The investigation was based on Regulation 3(1) and (2) of the Police Discipline Regulation 2001.
