All pupils attending the sports meet must be dressed in their full school uniforms as well as participants. He revealed that pupils repeating BECE and WASSCE are strictly prohibited from participating. They are expecting to have 18 events, with the finals being held on the third day. They are expecting to have events like 100, 200, 4×100 meter relay, and a host of other events in categories for junior and senior schools. Abdul Koko Sesay, a Ministry assistant, said that the schools have all been allocated to stands and for that reason pupils are strictly warned to stay in the stands allocated to them and not to move around. He also stated that schools must desist from singing provocative songs against other schools and principals must ensure that all members of staff are present, especially on the final day, to help maintain law and order. According to Ibrahim Koroma, all schools have been given competition numbers, which they will be using during the competition and each athlete must wear their numbers.
