Sierra Leone News: UAE, Sierra Leone advancing cooperation

Reem Al Hashemy, UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Alie Kabba, Sierra Leone’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International, have discussed ways to further develop cooperation between the two countries. The meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the 46th session of Council of Foreign Minister of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation in Abu Dhabi, addressed prospects for widening bilateral relations across various fronts. Alie Kabba said it is very important that both countries work towards building a strong economic relationship as UAE has been supporting Sierra Leone over the years. He said Sierra Leone is looking forward to get support from UAE in infrastructure, agriculture and transportation. He Told the Foreign Minister that they are looking for investors in these areas and UAE investors are welcome. UAE Foreign Minister Reem Al Hashemy said her country is very keen on investing in Sierra Leone and she will make sure that their presence is felt in Sierra Leone.
