Sierra Leone News: ACC Commissioner awarded “Seal of Integrity”

ACC Francis Ben Keifala 2

ACC’s Francis Ben Kaifala, over the weekend, proudly ascended the dais at the Golden Tulip Hotel where he was decorated with the “Seal of Integrity Award” presented by the Awards Committee of the Nexte & Heirs Africa. The receipt of the award from the Nigerian-based good governance and integrity organisation now places Sierra Leone’s ACC amongst the world’s best. Others in this category include Akinwumi Adesina-President of the African Development Bank, Desmond Tutu-Retired Archbishop of South Africa, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf-Former President of Liberia, Emmanuel Macron-French President and a host of others. In a citation to the ACC boss, the Global Seal of Integrity group states Francis Ben Kaifala has distinctly demonstrated integrity, ethics and zeal in pursuit of the fight against corruption. Ben Kaifala’s stance on corruption is in sync with GSI mission, which seeks to protect standard practice of democracy and We are very proud to stand with symbols of good conduct in not just government but other sectors that involve human interactions which include both the poor and the rich. Receiving the award, Commissioner Ben Kaifala thanked the organisers and dedicated the award to President Julius Maada Bio who endowed him with the trust to pursue this shared vision to fight against corruption. The Seal of Integrity award was presented at the Imperial Kabala Evening 2019 event at the Golden Tulip Hotel, in Freetown.
