Sierra Leone Sports: Mark Pharmacy donates to Solar Spikers Volleyball Club

Mark Pharmacy has boosted Solar Spikers Volleyball Club in Freetown with one pair of team jerseys and a promise to help the team financially. The proprietor of Mark Pharmacy, Mahmoud Mackie, noted that the business has been promoting sports for a long time but mainly soccer, and now they have decided to also help volleyball. Thanking the pharmacy management, the Secretary General of the Club, Karifa Kello Thoronka, said the Club was really in need of jerseys. He said the Club is the oldest volleyball club in the country but still lacks facilities and sponsorship. Karifa also commended the acting President of the Club, Eric Massallay, for providing the one pair for the men and also the Kent Cricket team for their timely donations before the commencement of the Club championship in Freetown. The organizing secretary of the club, Michael J. Bangura, expressed his dissatisfaction about some veterans players of Solar Club for failing to support the team.
