Sierra Leone Sports: Old Edwardians register second win in a row

Old Edwardians have won their last two games when they defeated East End Tigers by a goal to nil (1-0) to secure their second win in a row on Saturday 11 May 2019. In their first match of the second round they defeated Ports Authority by a goal to nil (1-0). After the match the technical team of Old Edwardians said they were able to win both matches as the boys were able to play and adapt to the system. He said they are looking forward to their next matches. In the other matches played; in Kenema the Kamboi Eagles registered their first win at home when they defeated Central Parade by a goal to nil (1-0). According to Francis M. Koroma, they have broken the bond and they will continue winning matches now at home. In Kono, the Diamond Stars and East End Lions played to a goalless draw and Lions maintained their unbeaten record. After playing 15 matches they are only team in the league that have not lost a single match. At the Siaka Stevens Stadium, the Bo Rangers and Mighty Blackpool played to a goalless draw while Ports Authority, after losing two matches in a row, came on very strong to defeat Republic of Sierra Leone Army Forces by a goal to nil (1-0).
